Triptych

This project explores the format of a triptych within the context of the airline industry, or rather, the lifecycle of a plane. Early Flemish Triptychs often include elements of time progression, shifting perspectives, and alternate locations/landscapes as a form of storytelling and as a way to place importance on certain elements of a scene. These techniques were used in the creation of this airline triptych. From the creation, death, and eventual reuse of an airliner, this project creates a new storyline, and other elements such as the frame embellishments and front cover add to the universe the triptych creates.
